We’re all little “Simply Complicated” and  the rich and famous are no different. Demi Lovato’s history of mental health and addiction issues have been well played out. Most of us get tagged in some unfortunate photos after the odd night out but Demi’s teenage years unfolded in front of the entire world, and she had to work very hard to come back from that.

Now an amazing role model for young women all over the world, her new documentary will be released exclusively, and for free, on you tube on October 17th. In it, Demi opens her heart to her fans, showing how she struggled, and still struggles to this day. Her good friend, Nick Jonas, talks about how, at an all time low, she punched a back up dancer.  This incident was the turning point that caused Lovato to check into rehab. “I went on a bender of like two months where I was using daily,” Demi says.

The star has now been sober for nearly five and a half years. “I’m on a journey to discover what it’s like to be free of all demons.”
