Tracey Ullman has been making people laugh for decades. But in her new show on BBC, she really highlights how ridiculous and frustrating people’s attitudes to sexual assault victims can be. In the video, she plays a detective who applies the same line of questioning often used for assault victims to a man who has just been mugged.

First she questions what the man chose to wear and suggests that his suit makes him look “provocatively wealthy.”

“Just a bit of an invitation, isn’t it? Like you’re advertising,” she says.

Herself and a colleague then ask the man if he had been drinking. If so, they say, he is partly to blame for what happened.

The video has been watched 18 million times on Facebook and 19 million on Youtube. Give it a watch and see what you think…
