We’re back baby!!!

Those of you who have been fans of us for a while will know that Shine Festival is our favourite day of the year. And it’s coming back on October 11th and 12th of this year, bigger and better than ever before.

Shine started in 2018 with 350 girls in a small venue in Waterford. In 2019, we grew to 1,000 in an arena. Covid hit us hard but we refused to give in when our girls needed us most and so we went online and put together the most amazing collection of heroes, role models, trailblazers and friends ever! Our 100 speakers, including Vicky Phelan, Laura Whitmore, Angela Scanlon and many more had a combined 1 MILLION video loads in 3 days.

How can we top that you ask?

Well, this year, we’re bringing together the online and digital festivals and you’re all invited!

This year Shine Festival will launch on October 11th and 12th, with a live event in The Conference Centre at The Clayton Burlington Road!

The two-day event will have over 100 impressive online and in-person speakers including Roxie Nafousi, Erica Cody, Louise McSharry, Ellen Keane, Georgie Crawford, Senator Eileen Flynn, special musical guest Lea Heart and many more. You can tune in to hear about topics such as mental health, wellness, mindset, career, diversity, individuality, the arts, sports, social issues, and sustainability.

Every single girl in Ireland who attends will see herself, and the subjects she cares about represented, discussed and celebrated.

Our founder, Tammy Darcy said “Like everyone else, the young women we work with have been hugely affected by recent historic world events. They are feeling more stressed, isolated and anxious than ever before. SHINE allows us to provide them with the inspiration they need right now, and invite them to become part of an empowering movement of women who are strong, resilient and authentic.”

There are 3 ways you can get involved this year:

1: LIVE EVENT:  Schools are invited to attend the live event, hear from our panel of speakers and performers, and a festival site to explore. In-person tickets are now sold out, but we encourage you to get your entire school involved virtually!

2: SCHOOL FESTIVAL: Stream the live event in your school gym, hall, or classroom, hearing from amazing speakers, and taking part in challenges, competitions, and conversations. FOR FREE!

3: ENGAGE ALL YEAR: We are having 100 conversations with interesting and inspiring women with something for everyone. Sign up to have access to the video library for the entire school year FOR FREE!

In-person tickets are now sold out! Thank you to all who signed up. Alternatively, schools and individuals are invited to join our virtual event by completing this form and one of our team will get back to you.
