You asked for more, and we delivered!!

As you know, our main workshop is very popular and consistently booked up for months in advance. We have been asked many times by schools if there is a follow on workshop available, so we’ve spent the last few months developing, piloting and evaluating a brand-new programme.

“The Shona Mindset and Confidence Workshop” focuses on three key areas:

  1. How we can develop a positive mindset
  2. How to build confidence and use our voices
  3. Understanding anxiety and building our anxiety/ stress toolkit.

The workshop lasts for 1.5 hours and is interactive, so each attendee can find ways in which to apply the learning in their own lives. It features some small activities, video content, and of course, is delivered in a way in which your students feel seen, heard, understood and involved.

The workshop is delivered by Judith Mullally, an experienced speaker and presenter, who brings her own personal perspective in an authentic and honest way. Judith has been a valued member of our team for two years and is hugely committed to our mission, which is to ensure that every girl in Ireland is given the tools they need to achieve their dreams and have happy and healthy relationships.

Now, we’re a little biased because we already know how amazing Judith is, but here’s what a teacher had to say about her experience with Judith and our Mindset & Confidence workshop!

Still haven’t you sold on this? Well, here is what the girls from Caritas College had to say about their experience of our Part 2 workshop!

One workshop costs €525 and if the school would like to book a second on the same day, we can offer two workshops for €800. We are a non-profit organisation, and the costs of the workshops are simple to cover our operational and material expenses. Any additional revenue from workshops is reinvested in our other impact projects and events.

While we have you…

In September last, we launched our Junoir Ambassador Programme, inviting schools to nominate a female student who has shown leadership, kindness and an interest in social issues to become part of our national ambassador programme. Our Junior Ambassadors (or Jambos, as we call them 🙂 ) are invited to deliver a welcome address to the incoming first years and be advocates for kindness and inclusivity in their school. Here’s what Fatima had to say about her experience as a Jambo!
