We are proud impact partners of the U21 Women’s Hockey Team as they have just landed in Chile for the junior World Cup.

We will get to learn loads about the girls on the Hockey Pitch next week but for now get to know the @irelandhockeyteam

Their first 3 games are as follows:
December 1: vs Germany
December 3: vs Namibia
December 5: vs India

Today, November 21st, Women and girls across South Africa are shutting down in their workplaces, schools, and daily routines to demand action against the gender-based violence crisis. A crisis where femicide rates are six times higher than the global average.

This shutdown is a powerful protest of women collectively saying, 'enough is enough'.

At The Shona Project, our community of Women and girls stands firmly with this movement. We believe in using our voices, our platforms, and our solidarity to push for change.

We’ve been watching the whole Sky Sports Halo situation unfold. It’s been a reminder of something we see all the time. Women in sport deserve so much more than a pink filter or a sparkly side channel.

They deserve respect. Fair pay. Real celebration for their time, their talent and every bit of effort they put in.

We’ll always back women in sport. The ones who rise and the ones who keep going. The ones who lead, the ones who think, the ones who win and the ones who learn along the way.

It’s been powerful to see so many people calling this out and standing up for better. Hopefully it pushes things forward on whatever platforms come next.

At the eir VIP Publishing Power of Women Awards 2025, we were thrilled to see @destinyayovaughan take home the Digital & Tech Award for her work with @mindthegapireland , a charity dedicated to empowering women affected by sexual assault and ensuring their voices are heard.

Huge congratulations as well to our Tammy Darcy on her well-deserved nomination.

We’re also proud to recognise @iampatkane for her nomination in the Sustainability Award category !

And a big shout-out to our friend @sharingwithyemi , who won the Public Life Award at the Irish Tatler Women of 2025.
