The latest Instagram craze is really one we can get behind. “Instaception”, started by Australian MUA @Dom.Skii, is all about showing that the final Instagram shot portrays only the tiny bit of the person that they want us to see.

If you search the Hashtag #Instaception, you will see influencers and beauty bloggers placing a teeny tiny Insta frame on a section of their face, and leaving the rest exposed and natural. It highlights how much work goes into achieving the perception of perfection, and how make up is a beautiful form of art to be appreciated, but should never skew our own sense of self.

Check out the hashtag, and remember to appreciate your self, filteredly flawless or au naturale.
