Have you heard of “The Harvard Computers”? They are a group of female astronomers who did huge amounts of research on our galaxy, even though, as women, they weren’t allowed to touch the telescopes themselves.

Or how about the woman who discovered what stars were actually made of?

Or even the astronomer who had to work in a facility where there were no women’s toilets?

Henrietta Swan Leavitt, Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin and Vera Rubin changed the way we view the universe. So why don’t we hear more about them? Lets give them 4 minutes and fourty seconds….
