Meet Frostine Shake… Shes a badass.

Frostine, 30, from Austin Texas works as a make up artist and model, and is a classically trained ballerina. Having danced from age 6 or 7, Frostine quit ballet as a teenager because of the pressure she felt to be thin.

When she was 18, she discovered burlesque dancing and says “I started to explore different types of dance that gave me freedom to express myself in a body-positive way, Burlesque showcased my love of dance, art, music, and fashion.”

“I get most of my posing, hand movements, and gestures from the grace of ballet — it makes me feel elegant and strong.”
