This week is Mental Health week in Ireland.  Not sure about you lot, but we’ve been wrecked lately. Back to college, the evenings are bet, we’re all skint, and our to-do lists are getting longer and longer.
As a group we’ve all decided to do a 21 day mindfulness challenge, in order to get more in touch with our thoughts, and to hopefully, be better at coping with whatever life throws at us in the future.

Mindfulness is basically about giving yourself space to think and breathe, plant yourself in a moment, and just stop for a beat.
It sounds easy, but it actually isn’t, sometimes it will work, and sometimes you’ll get frustrated because you keep being distracted by your thoughts. And that’s okay. We’ve been told that the more you do it, the better you get at it, and hopefully that 10 minute investment will help you to get through the rest of the day.
There are loads of options available, apps, Youtube clips, sitting in silence, or being outside in nature. You can do it for ten minutes every day or 30 minutes 3 times a week or a mixture.Find a way that works for you.
We start tomorrow morning, and will report back in 3 weeks, join us……
