The Shine Festival website is home to over 140 empowering conversations with some of Ireland’s most inspiring and authentic women.

Topics covered during these conversations include mental health, wellness, careers, the arts, women in sports and so much more.

Each woman interviewed has one thing in common. They were open and honest with us to show the thousands of teenage girls across Ireland, that no one really knows everything and no one is perfect!

So go on, what are you waiting for? Head over to www.shinefestival.ie and get watching.

We are so excited to have your support. It’s because of the support from people like you, that we are able to continue spreading the positive impact of our Shona Movement.

We have a few other ways schools can get involved should you wish to. These include:

  1. We recently asked 559 teenage girls across Ireland how they were doing really, and the research result were quite shocking. Have a read here -> https://shona.ie/research2022/
  2. We run powerful and engaging school workshops suitable for all secondary school students. Contact [email protected] for more info and to book in.
  3. To celebrate International Day Of The Girl in October 2022, we had our biggest-ever event where we were joined by 17,000 teenage girls – both virtually and in person – from all over Ireland and created once-in-a-lifetime memories. Our online site, with over 140 informative videos on topics such as mental health, women’s health, women in sports, careers, the arts, activism and much more, will remain live as a well-being resource for the remainder of the academic year 2022/23. For more info and to watch the content, please head over to www.shinefestival.ie.
