At 15, Niamh Scanlon has already achieved so much more than most adults. In December 2015, she was named EU Digital Girl of the Year. Niamh started learning to code when she was nine, and she soon started to develop apps and websites. According to Niamh, coding is a form of creativity just like learning to play an instrument, dance or writing.

She says; ‘Coding is a skill that I think all young people should get a chance to learn, because it means you can not only use technology, you can create things with it too’

Niamh is a huge supporter of Codor Dojo, and mentors at the DCU group.
