“I’m just worried about your health”  “Even your voice sounds fat” ”

It never fails to amaze me how people think they have a right to comment on how others look, and to dictate how they should look.  Judgement is the scourge of females, and we are our own worst enemies at times. In this video shared 2 days ago by Wear your voice Mag, 13 women tell us about some of the stupid comments they hear on a daily basis.

According to Rachel Otis, the creative director of the video, there is a key difference between body acceptance and positivity and fat liberation: “Body positivity has become a general societal trend that tends to ignore thin privilege. Fat liberation was the radical fuel that lit the fire.”

Otis said the main message is important “You are not alone. You are seen. You are heard. You are appreciated. You are loved just as you are.”
